Consolidation at Borneo Books

Recently Bbooks had to give up the lease of its fancy office overlooking KK harbour because the Shouting Fuming Quarryman next door bought it and wanted to expand into it. No more sights of sea eagles catching sea snakes, but in compensation out of the big windows of BB2 one can see city life in all its variety. The hotel just opposite, the Kinabalu Daya, has been done up and is offering good value rooms as a mid range hotel and there is some very good music in the bar at week ends.
The office is now in part of the seating area of BB2 (the main shop 2 flights up in the Wisma Merdeka mall next to the Hyatt Hotel).
Incidentally, all our books are wrapped and sealed against mould and cockroaches (which love to graze the bindings of books). If and when you want to inspect a book, get one of the staff to unwrap it and then sit down and look at it over a hot drink. This might just be your idea of heaven.
