- 'In Xanadu did Kubla Khan
- A stately pleasure-dome decree:
- Where Alph, the sacred river, ran
- Through caverns measureless to man
- Down to a sunless sea.'
- Well, it either does it for you or it doesn't. Either way the entry about this poem in Wikipedia makes good reading.
- The 'Fifty Adventure Stories' book has the weirdest selection of tales you could hope to come across. It defies description. Each chapter is a different (true - more or less) tale of adventure spanning from the Christian 15th centurey to the 1930's. In places the writing leaves very much to be desired, but there are some gems. For sale in our 2nd hand bookshop in Kota Kinabalu.
